You can also live in the downtown area, and buy a condo in Jacksonville itself. There is never a shortage of possibilities when it comes to real estate in Jax and the surrounding area. I initially worked with a small real estate brokerage located in western Jacksonville, however that didn’t last truly long. The agent who helped was not interested in finding me the perfect piece of Jax real estate, she just wanted to make a quick sale and transfer on. Instead I went to another agency, one of the oldest and most proper real estate companies in NE Florida, and I explained to them what I needed. This real estate supplier didn’t pressure me about a sale, they took the time to get to know me and find the perfect Jacksonville house for my needs.
